Blessing Oborodudu; a Nigerian wrestler; has advanced to the semi-finals of the women’s wrestling event at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Oborodudu defeated Azerbaijani’s Elis Manolova 13-12 to reach the quarter finals and defeated Meerim Zhumanazorova of Kyrgyzstan in the freestyle 68kg event to advance to her first Olympic semi-finals.
She will face Mongolia’s Battsetseg Soronzold in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic women’s wrestling semi-finals.
